Position: Client Service Associate

The mission for the Client Service Associate is to work with their assigned Wealth Managers to provide the highest level of service to our clients. They will be expected to communicate directly with clients and resolve their issues or questions with the highest level of quality and courtesy possible. The Client Service Associate will be expected to work directly with our custodians to process all client requests timely and accurately.

Outcomes:

  1. Become proficient in all client service procedures within 180 days from start date.
  2. Become proficient with all custodian processes within 180 days from start date.
  3. Successfully onboard all new clients your Wealth Manager brings in.
    1. Ensure the onboarding experience is a positive one for all new clients.
    2. Minimize errors in the new client onboarding process.
  4. Ensure 100% of required minimum distributions (RMDs) are taken for clients each year with no errors.
  5. Prepare client meeting materials for Wealth Manager with 100% accuracy.
  6. Familiarize yourself with the 65-Day Election process for irrevocable trust accounts for which Boston Financial Management serves as a trustee.
  7. Ensure all client materials are maintained in our document management portal.

Other Preferred Skills:

  • Trust Administration Experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in the investment/wealth management industry
  • Experience working with bank or broker custodians
  • Experience with portfolio management software (i.e. Advent APX/Moxy)

 

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience. BFM also provides a competitive benefits package including a 401(k) plan.
