Boston Financial Management had the honor of sponsoring and running in yesterday’s Maine Marathon Relay with the Josephine and John Marr Alzheimer’s Research Fund. Several BFM employees and their families ran, as well as volunteered throughout the day in support of Alzheimer’s prevention research.

This event and team is extra special to BFM, as Abby Psyhogeos, Wealth Manager, is the daughter of Josephine and John Marr. John Marr and his children launched the research fund at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) to fuel innovative research collaborations aimed at preventing Alzheimer’s disease. Named for John and his beloved wife Josephine, the fund is inspired by Josephine’s courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease and the hope that new research will put an end to this devastating disease for future generations.
