Boston Financial Management is proud to sponsor “Crosscheck Substance Abuse Radio”, a new radio program featuring Kevin Stevens, a three-time NHL All Star and three-time Stanley Cup winner (twice as a player and once in the front office). Crosscheck is a one-hour weekly show, dedicated to discussing the vast issues surrounding substance abuse. The premise behind the show is to help end the stigma of substance abuse and to open the conversation regarding this difficult topic.

Crosscheck will be an honest discussion about the disease that affects more than 60 million Americans every year. Each week, a notable guest from the world of sports, entertainment and politics will be featured sharing his or her experience with substance abuse and how it has impacted his or her life. The program will cover relevant news stories, along with providing information and resources for individuals and family members struggling with addiction.

Crosscheck will air live each Saturday morning, starting on December 9, 2017, from 2:00PM to 3:00PM on Salem Media’s WBIX AM 1260 THE BUZZ. It will be replayed on WEZE 590 AM THE WORD each Saturday from 3:00PM to 4:00PM. The show is hosted by Kevin Stevens, along with co-host former DEA Agent Jack Teitleman. Andrew Bernstein will serve as the show moderator.

Tune in starting December 9, 2017 to hear the program and BFM’s two-minute spot! For more than 40 years, Boston Financial Management has been dedicated to the creation and preservation of wealth for our clients. We recognize that wealth may come in many forms. To some it may be measured in dollars and cents, and to others it may be a particular lifestyle. We strive to develop and implement individual investment programs to address the specific needs of each and every client. Our focus is multigenerational in scope in that we are very concerned with current tax implications as well as the wisdom of sophisticated estate planning opportunities. Intelligent financial and investment planning will provide all citizens with a stable community and will promote the common good. For that reason, BFM is pleased to support Crosscheck radio’s mission of providing education and awareness about the drug addiction crisis currently facing this nation. The opioid addiction problem is causing incredible harm, not only to individuals but to towns and cities across Massachusetts and the nation. This crisis does not discriminate by zip code or financial status; it affects us all. We believe this program will increase awareness and begin to move the nation towards a better understanding of the crisis and ultimately to a solution. Boston Financial Management is proud to take an active role in promoting Power Forward, aired by Crosscheck Radio, and believe all communities and individuals will benefit with a greater knowledge of the current opioid crisis.
