As the firm’s Controller, Carol is responsible for the day-to-day business of the company. Her purview is overseeing all aspects of corporate finance from payroll to long-range planning, in addition to being actively involved in our many client events. Carol also manages Human Resources, and arranges for changes in both staff and benefits.
Her experience is on a national level as she has worked at brokerage firms on Wall Street and in Los Angeles as an Operations Manager, and Portfolio Administrator for an investment advisor and venture capital firm. Carol joined Boston Financial Management in 2000 and has had the ability to adjust her approach to the expansion of our company, benefiting the company at large and aiding in achieving our clients’ expectations.
She is a graduate of Boston College School of Arts and Sciences and has attended Boston College’s Woods College of Advancing Studies.
Carol enjoys golf, movies, and spending time with her children, husband and pets.
As the Executive Assistant, Elizabeth serves as the Assistant to the President/CEO. Additionally, she performs administrative duties for the executive staff, plans and executes company events, is responsible for all marketing initiatives, and assists on special projects.
Prior to joining Boston Financial Management in 2012, Elizabeth held various administrative roles at Bay State College and EF Education. She earned a B.A. degree in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
When not in the office, Elizabeth can be found in the White Mountains, either skiing in the winter or hiking with her dog in the warmer months. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and reading.
Katherine B. DeVoursney
As the Receptionist, Katherine provides support for all employees and manages office logistics, including coordinating client and prospect meetings.
Katherine joined Boston Financial Management in 2017. Prior to that, Katherine worked for six years in the nonprofit sector, including three terms of service with Americorps and most recently as the Administrative Assistant for the Pregnancy Support & Adoption Services Department at Catholic Social Services of Anchorage, Alaska.
Katherine received her B.A. degree in Art History from Albion College.
Katherine enjoys taking walks with her dog, travelling, and reading books about the “Classic Hollywood” era of film.
As the Staff Accountant, Colleen is responsible for performance, fees, and special projects.
She joined Boston Financial Management in 1995. Prior to that, she was an Account Administrator at State Street Bank and Account Administrator at Hawthorne Associates Inc.
Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
